Matlab 2015a Installation Instruction (Windows)

  1. Click Run [\\10.3.100.212] to login in to the server 10.3.100.212
  2. Login Id/Password : guest
  3. Go to Software Repository
  4. Go to folder Matlab* (chose the version to Install)
  5. Double click setup.exe



  6. In Mathworks Installer-
  7. Choose/Click : Use a File Installation Key and Click Next



  8. Click: Accept license agreement-click next
  9. Click: I have the file Installation Key for my license



  10. Contact helpdesk[at]cc.iitkgp.ac.in for the File installation Key & Network License file
  11. Copy/Type the File installation key-click next to continue
  12. Chose Installation folder-click next to continue



  13. Select products to install ( Don't select License Manager)- click next to continue



  14. Select the installation option- click next to continue



  15. Run Install.






Please remember except license manager any other products listed above can be installed. Installation procedure is fairly simple and user friendly, only network connectivity has to be proper because while booting up MATLAB will try to contact the license manager, if its fails, it won't work.
